About Troy Road / Kane Wash
NR8435, Troy Road / Kane Wash, stretches between the north end of Lucerne Valley and south end of Newberry Springs where high canyon walls, distant desert views, remote dispersed camping opportunities and long sand washes make up this easy and enjoyable off-road desert trail.
Brown, gray and black walls of ancient lava rock tower above sections of white sandy trail and open up into wide panoramic desert views across this trail in the Newberry / Rodman BLM sub-region. This trail and it's many connecting trails offer plenty of easy desert exploration opportunities for any wheeler.

The trailhead is at the intersection of Camp Rock Road and Troy Road. Head north over the cattle grade to start on the trail.

There are a number of location along this trail that makes great dispersed camping, but there are no facilities or improved campsites along this trail.
