Mirror Lake Trail
Mirror Lake Jeep Trail, route number 26E216 in the Sierra National Forest, is one great short, but challenging 4x4 trail. Mirror Lake Trail, and more specifically the winch hill in the middle of Mirror Lake Trail, makes for one of the most challenging, and maybe frightening, sections of off-road trail in the Red Mountain OHV area. The small, but clear and peaceful lake at the end of Mirror Lake Trail offers some great fishing, swimming and camping.
The seasonal gate for this area typically opens on 6/15 of each year and closes on 11/1.
Combine a Mirror Lake run with Red Lake and Coyote Lake trails for an adventure packed weekend of wheeling and camping.
