Wrangler Rubicon

Dirt Demon

Dirt Demon is a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon geared at 4.88, sitting on 40 inch Mickey Thompson Baja Pro XS tires, on trussed factory axle housings with Tereflex HD ball joints and chromoly shafts.

The 4.5” Rock Krawler triple rate springs are dampened by Fox Shocks 2.0 adj. reservoir shocks with all relocated brackets.

Control arms have all been upgraded with a Clayton Off-Road system; 3 link long arm in the front and 4 link ling arms in the rear.

Drive lines are Adams 1350 driveshafts front and rear.

Other additions include a Banks air intake and an e-locker switch bypass kit to allow the lockers to work with out restrictions.

Trail coms in this rig are handled by an ICOM 2730 VHF/UHF dual band radio, a Midland CB and Baofeng handheld.

Dirt Demon has been through some great California areas and trails including Sand Stone Canyon in Anza Borrego, Hammer Down at Cougar Buttes near Johnson Valley, Fordyce in northern California and Coyote Lake and Mirror Lake in central California.

George and this rig also run the Southern California Offroad group Rock Riders of LA on Meetup.

RROLA (Rock Riders of LA) is a diverse group of off-road enthusiast who enjoy camping and off-road exploration. All skill levels and vehicles are welcome but a modded vehicle will be essential to join some of the more advanced runs. There are a lot of Jeeps and 4x4's in LA and not enough clubs. So if you're located anywhere in SoCal and tired of waving at other Jeeps driving by, in need of an off road club closer to your area or tell yourself... "It sure would be nice to take my rig out exploring." Welcome to RROLA, lets meet up and go wheeling!
