About Bald Mountain
Bald Mountain is a super scenic trail with minimal 4x4 rock crawling challenges on its main line.
For those that want more of challenge, the optional obstacles along Bald Mountain Offer that too.
And, of course, the reward at the end of this trail is the view from the tower overlooking Shaver Lake and the San Joaquin Valley.
Near by Camping
Bald Mountain Basecamp offers the best camping in this area. This free, first come first serve campground has vault toilets, open spaces and multiple camp sites with fire rings and picnic tables.
Improved and RV camping can be found near Shaver Lake at Camp Edison where there is electricity, coin operated showers, BBQs, fire rings, picnic tables, and food boxes.
