My Cat's 1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ
This 1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ sits on a 6.5 inch rough country long arm suspension lift. Iron rock off road frame stiffeners strengthen the uni-body and a Cavfab steering kit with a Durango steering box and power steering fluid cooler keep this XJ turning through these trails.
What else is on the Cherokee?
Slip yoke eliminator, Mile Marker 9500lb winch, Detroit locker in the 8.25 rear end, and an open high pinion Dana 30 with an over axle truss up front. 5.13 gears keep 35 inch BFG KM2 tires rolling.
Trail communications are handled through a quad band TYT 9800 ham radio.
This XJ was bought and built on a budget, but that hasn't stopped it from crawling through some of the toughest trails on this site.
Just about any 4x4 rig can handle Bald Mountain, but this XJ does it on the hard lines; Posi Hill, V Rock and Big Snot.
This Jeep had some tires in the air on Mirror Lake Trail, but pushed on through and was ready for more on Swamp Lake Trail.
This XJ has been recently upgraded. Here's a quick peak at it now.
