Holcomb Creek

Holcomb Creek / 3N93

Forest route 3N93, Holcomb Creek Trail, not to be confused with Holcomb Creek Road, in Big Bear, California in the San Bernardino National Forest is a scenic and challenging trail. Scattered with numerous rock gardens, this trail is second only to John Bull in this area of Big Bear.

The south end gate keeper is a long, 100+ yard rock garden that can keep wheelers entertained for hours. Continuing through the trail there are a few more short scattered patches of large rocks and then the center rock garden where a mountain spring feeds into the creek. You will almost always find wet, slippery spots through this boulder field, which adds to the fun.
